My work often focuses on exploration of abject,
invisible/inaudible, or ignored streams of information.
I perform and present work regularly in Europe and
North America. Recent projects include
• a series of performance and installation works exploring radio silences
(Diapason Gallery, New York; Sleeper Gallery, Edinburgh;
SoundPlay Festival, Toronto) • a commission from the Berliner Festspiele
for a new version of John Cage's Fontana Mix • performances of the
music of Phill Niblock at the Barbican (London UK) / Mixtophonics series
(Vancouver Canada) / Tone Deaf Festival (Kingston Canada) • collaborative
performances with violinist Jane Henry at Diapason Gallery (New
York City) • a series of collaborative exhibitions in the UK and Canada
with UK artist Chloë Steele entitled Perfect Imperfect • the sound
installation Auricle in Norwich Cathedral (UK) • a tour of
improvisational performances in the Netherlands and Germany
with Anne La Berge and Anne Wellmer • a sound installation
entitled Digital to Analog Converter, making audible digital sources via tin-can
telephones, for the touring exhibition Sound Machines (UK)
